The Canucks go into Calgary with something to prove… Well mostly luongo does. NOT to let them get to him early in the game and let that very raucous fan base be on him with every minute that is played. The Saddledome (it will always be called that) is a tough place to play. The Canucks have always played well against the Flames in there but they go in limping this game.

Sami Salo is out, Daniel Sedin is out, Pavel Demitra is always out, Mats Schneider like Demitra hasnt laced up his skates for a game yet. Rome and Grabner are in slot to take Salo and Sedins place.

Graber – this is your chance. You are on the top line playing with skill (Sedin) and grit (Burrows) you will HAVE to find your place fast if you want to start derailing the cities fanbase from calling you a flop. Score a goal. Get 2 points. Play hard, Play Smart.

For Calgary the top line is being split up to try to stop their 3 game losing streak after starting the season strong. Iginla is on a line with Conroy and Glencross, while Jokinen centres between Nystrom and Sjostrom.

Luongo and Kippursoff start in goal again as we should expect a high scoring game in a NW Division shootout.

Canucks will certainly have their depth tested tonight and after winning 2 in a row will look to get to .500 on the season and start anew.
