One the more interesting battles of this year's camp is the battle to see who gets to watch Luongo play goal 65-70 times this year.

Who do you see winning it?

Cory's salary may be the real deciding factor even though the coach and manager are all singing the same tune (best player will make the team blah blah blah).

it will be raycroft. unless he bombs beyond expectations. We still have to dump over $2.5 M in cap before the season (going by best lineup on paper) adding Corey makes it $3M. Canucks in a pickle with him. unless they trade some money to get him playing time he will be in the AHL until traded on potential.

Good games by both last night in Terrace.

Hopefully all the competition at camp really does bring out the best in everyone.

I think it's safe to say Raycroft has the backup's spot barring a heroic performance by Cory.

"It would be fair to say that Raycroft did not have a so-so night whereas Schneider had a so-so night," Vigneault said. "Raycroft has been good every time we have put him in."

Corey is not ready plain and simple. he has a long way to go maybe one more season in the AHL then full time back up next year. the NHL seems way to fast for him and he is not fluid enough nor mentally strong enough by what we have seen.

Raycroft impressed me last night
