The Vancouver Canucks won their first shootout of the season. Lets hope its a sign of things to come as both the shooters for the Canucks and Luongo were dominate in the shootout. Both Wellwood and Kesler scored and Luongo shutout all Dallas Shooters to win their second game in row 4-3.

It wasnt the classic Turco vs Luongo match we have always come to see nor was it vintage Turco vs the Canucks where he always shuts them down, although he did make a marvelous leg stop on a 2 on 1 Henrik Sedin chance. Also with Luongo late in the 2nd period he stoned a breakaway attempt that would have possibly turned the tide.

Henrik Sedin showed alot of what he really is without his brother as he had 2 assists in the game and could have scored 2 goals on top of that.
