300th Sellout and 1 point required for the Division Title

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

CAn the Canucks make it back to back NW Div titles this night in front of the 300th consecutive Sellout of GM Place against the Minnesota Wild?

With a Canucks win or OT loss the Canucks will win their 2nd straight Division title and their 3rd in 4 years.

Canucks can clinch a playoff spot with a point!

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

The Canucks can clinch a playoff berth tonight with one single point. They should get 2 tonight and sweep the season series against the Kings. The Canucks and Kings match pretty decent but Luongo is regaining his form and the Sedins are on fire with Henrik looking to keep his lead on the Art Ross over Ovie.

4-2 Canucks Win

Canucks host Coyotes

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

I expect the Canucks will be going into Playoff Hockey Mode and will be playing a tighter defensive game as will the Coyotes. Both teams still have much to play for the Canucks for the Div Title and a playoff berth locked up and The Coyotes to challenge still for Top of the West.

Canucks are down a regular Dman with Shane O’Brien out of the line up for Disciplinary reasons. The Canucks have lost 4 of their last 5 with the most recent being a 4-2 loss to the Sharks. Luongo vs Bryzgalov will make this a low scoring game.

Canucks 3-2

Bruins host Canucks for Coffee and Donuts

Friday, February 5th, 2010

the Game is EARLY really Early 930 am. I Dont like Canucks in early morning games. While we have a decent record from what I can recall the last 2 we have won and lost big players to injury (Luongo to a few weeks due to a knee injury).

I like the under as well most likely a 2-1 game in OT or SO.

Boston and Canucks have had a history of low scoring games recently.

2009 Boston wins 1-0
2008 Boston wins 2-0
2007 Canucks wins 5-2
2006 Boston wins 2-1 OT
2005 Canucks win one 6-5 and Boston wins one 6-3 (I was at this one actually)

But even with 5 years of history showing the low scores in 3 of the 6 the high scores of the other 3 show one thing. Stats mean nothing in this pick. What does mean something is both teams need to get out of their funk (Canucks the last 3 and Bruins the last 10)

I see a Defense first game with the Canucks trying a little harder to come out faster and with the first goal.

its a pick as far as I can see but the score will be low.
