Canucks vs Blues – New Years Eve

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Happy New Year

Blues are terrible at home 6-13-2

Canucks are bad on the road 7-10-1

something has to give

Blues are the dog for this game at +110
Over is +110 at 5.5

Canucks lost 2 defenseman this week 1 to injured calf 1 to injured pride. Kevin Bieksa had his calf cut again and will be week to week while Mats Schneider allegedly walked out on the team this week prompting the canucks to waive him (he cleared) and he wont be recalled.

Canucks vs teams from the Central Division (2-7-0).
Blues vs teams from the Northwest Division (6-3-1).

Canucks are on a roll at 7-2-1 in their last 10 with the Blues struggling at 4-6-0. The Blues have always been a tough opponent for the Canucks in the regular season but I think that trend changes tonight with a Canucks victory on the under.

Happy New Year be safe and GO CANUCKS GO

Team Canada Mens Team

As Per TSN.ca/nhl

Now the one thing everyone needs to know in Canuck Land and its this Roberto Luongo is backup to Martin Brodeur. There is no goalie in the world better prepared, experienced, determined, and proven than Martin Brodeur. He has won gold. He has lost as a starter and he has lost as a bench warmer. He has done it all and he has achieved more in his career than both Roberto and Marc-Andre could ever hope to accomplish. It is his job to lose and he will Start as Team Canadas #1 goalie. How he performs in his first game is how it will determine how far he goes. Roberto will get 1 game maybe 2 if Martin falters at all however we doubt we will see him as starting goalie unless Marty is hurt or playing poorly.
